A calendar of your month
Every trade on the day it happened. Click a day to add one, open a trade to edit it, and read the month at a glance: net result in money or R, win rate, trade count and a bar for each day.
Trading journal
Log your live trades in a monthly calendar, read them with the same statistics engine as your backtests, and get Flow Reports on how you execute. Backtest trades never land here: one record measures the strategy, the other measures you.
What you log
Every trade on the day it happened. Click a day to add one, open a trade to edit it, and read the month at a glance: net result in money or R, win rate, trade count and a bar for each day.
Direction, pair and dates; the result in %, money or R; prices, levels and pips if you track them. Then notes, tags from your strategy, its checklist and up to 10 screenshots.
A paginated table filtered by pair, dates, outcome, direction, weekday, time of day, checklist, tags, risk and R multiple, sortable by date, risk or result in the unit you choose.
Two records
Backtest
Trades you close in a replay session. Its Flow Reports look for the edge: which hours, sessions, weekdays and pairs carry it, how the payoff works, how deep the drawdowns go.
Journal
Trades you take live. Its Flow Reports look at execution: risk that creeps, what you do after a loss, checklist discipline, and what hesitation costs you.
Because both are measured by the same engine, you can open the Statistics tab of each and read the same cards side by side. When the live numbers drift from the tested ones, the drift itself tells you where to look.
Flow Reports
The first journal report arrives at 20 trades on a strategy, then at 75, 150 and 250, then every 100. Each one is numbered and never rewritten.
Risk consistency and size creep, behaviour after a loss or a win, trades per day, checklist adherence, the tags that move your results, stop stability, and what the setups you skipped would have paid.
A pattern makes the report only if it survives a significance check, and a report can only quote numbers the engine measured. Note text and screenshots are never sent.
Statistics
The journal has its own Statistics tab with the same five sections as the backtest (verdict, edge, stability, breakdown and Monte Carlo), in %, money, R or pips: the Verdict and Edge sections on the free plan, all five on the paid plans. A card appears when your trades carry the data it needs: log your levels and the journal gets the same depth as a backtest. See every metric.
FAQ
No, on purpose. Backtest and journal are separate tools with their own history, statistics and Flow Coach reports: one measures the strategy, the other your execution. Mixing the two records would let replay results flatter your live trading, and live mistakes dilute a strategy test.
No. There is no broker connection and no import: live trades are entered by hand, with as much detail as you have. If automatic import is essential to you, a journal platform that offers it will serve you better.
As much as you have. The result can be entered in %, money or R, prices and levels are optional, pips are optional too, and notes, tags, your strategy checklist and screenshots add context. Statistics cards appear as the data supports them, so a journal with levels filled in gets the same depth as a backtest.
At 20 journal trades on a strategy, then at 75, 150 and 250, then every 100. Each report is numbered and frozen, so the next one shows whether you actually improved or the change is within the margin of error.
Execution: whether your risk stays consistent or creeps up, what you do after a loss or a win, whether your checklist is followed, which tags go with better or worse results, what the setups you skipped would have paid, and how steady your stops are. It reads a numeric summary only: note text and screenshots are never sent.
